OBJECTIVE/SOLUTION
Building a brand identity for Lost Grove Brewing in Boise, Idaho. Named after the idea that anybody can find their favorite destination, feeling, or mindset, the goal was to create a getaway in this renovated building to be just that.
Inspired by the journeys we all take and the lost groves we find, with consideration to the marks left behind. After studying various shoe prints, a boot print was chosen and a tree was integrated into the pattern, paying tribute to the brewery’s location in the City of Trees.
The concept of discovering a destination led the brand strategy, allowing for the interior and exterior to display more than the logo. ‘X marks the spot’ above the entryway and above the bar, while painted graphics call all beer drinkers.
The beer handles mimic that of a land marker, staking claim to the fresh draft being poured. The loyalty club requires customers to fill out a travel tag with their information, including a callout to their personal Lost Grove.
